I've got hell lotsa work to do but i'm just idling my time away.. ok maybe not cos i went to church in the morning and tennis thereafter. I just don't feel like doing any work now. I wanna watch some tv but there ain't anything worth watching now and there're no tennis matches to catch either. Damn it!


Btw.. catch My Bloody Valentine 3D. It's fucking gd.. other than its awesome graphics, the storyline's surprisingly qt gd too. Anticipate thrills, (blood) spills, an unexpected twist, and unadulterated gore. I'm a devout fan of horror flicks so you can trust me on this.

Went to Tempur with my dad ytd to get this pillow. Used it last nite and i must say it's fucking comfortable. My dad thinks sleeping well is very impt which was y he was willing to get this pillow for me despite the hefty price tag.

It's from denmark and it uses space technology. It's worth the money.. try it!

I just finished my last mid term paper on sat but im still unable to heave a sigh of relief cos' the whole of ytd was dedicated to proj meetings; and the drafting of my resume and cover letter today for my internship this summer. Anw i'm applying to breadtalk pte ltd as a marketing intern under the wing of food republic, and Singapore sports council. The latter's window of application has been opened many weeks ago and there're alr 2 applicants before me; so i'm guessing that i'll most probably get the breadtalk internship.

I know wth right.. but i was busy mugging for my mid terms la. Breadtalk's like the cherry on the cake if you compare it with whatever's left now.

On a lighter note, I got an A for my mpw mid terms!

Ytd was my 8th consecutive night without slp.. wonder if it's the stress from school or from life itself.

Over the years, I've gained wisdom, grown, and matured.. but one thing stays the same for sure; my heart beats the same way as before, and experiences the same array of palpitations.. the very same reason why my blog got its name when I first started it. My heart's still as warped.

My life's getting uninteresting. It's not tt i haven't been going out.. it's just that going out and hanging ard with frens no longer stimulate the endorphins in me. I reckon tt tennis is my sole avenue of happiness and if i can play tennis everyday i would. It helps take my mind of the world and it's constituents. I feel the need for something exciting in my life. Sth new to do, to explore, and to experience. An adventure perhaps.. just like the ones in fanstasy stories. I need to reach the pinnacle of life.

And so.. the inaugural grand slam of 2009 has officially come to a modest close with some exceptional tennis..

Congratulations to Serena williams and Rafael nadal for winning the women's and men's singles respectively in the Australian open 2009! Serena is now officially the world no.1 in women's tennis.

It was a rather gruelling match for both nadal and federer as they faced off in the finals. In spite of the lack of sufficient rest from the previous match against verdasco, nadal brought on his best and managed a win over federer; 7-5, 3-6, 7-6, 3-6, 6-2.

The next grand slam will be the french open on 24th May.. It just seems so far away.. I think i'm already suffering from post-aust open syndrome. damn!

Verdasco deserves a standing ovation for his effort. He'd put up a splendid performance albeit nadal proved to be a more competent player.

Roddick just got booted out by fed. Sorta expected tt but nvr knew it wld be in straight sets. Anw there was this stupid indian commentator who talked thru the match and 70% of the time i cldnt understand what he was saying. And he's always the commentator for the impt matches. fuck la. Go back to being your money changer la. Starsports shld just give him the boot.

aust open is coming to an end with the finals for women's and men's singles on sat and sch's starting again on mon. I just loathe this feeling. Nth to look forward to.. the emptiness.. sibeh sian.

Can't believe i'm skipping lessons today to watch tennis.. I'm addicted.

Anw fernando verdasco (14) has defeated jo-wilfried tsonga (7) in the quarter finals match to move into the the semi-finals. He's getting so gd tt he may be in my list of tennis idols. So far there's only andy roddick and andy murray (who got ousted by verdasco just ytd).

Nxt at 430 is the match btwn nadal and gilles simon. Exciting match.

Having a fantastic day means having tennis training in the morning, catching the australian open in the afternoon, attending a reunion dinner at nite and partying at zouk thereafter.

My "mum" is really a (recurring) pain in the neck. I know it's not new to you for me to say this yet again but to be honest, one of my new yr resolutions is to be a better person, and part of it includes improving my relationship with that woman.

Ok. I know i didn't state my new yr resolutions down but it's only cos' i feel that resolutions are supposed to be made in the heart, and it's set for me to achieve, or even to overcome it. What's the point of penning your new yr resolutions down for everyone to see when the sole purpose is for others to perceive you as someone who has high aspirations, and being all that noble? That's just bull. (i'm not referring to anyone and this only forms part of my beliefs and values so don't tk offence)

Alright. That aside. I merely asked her why she was sitting at my usual spot at the dinner table. She then raised her voice and said tt she's my mother so she can sit anywhere she wants bla bla bla.. Just because you're placed above me in the family tree doesn't give you the right to throw your weight around especially when you're going thru menopause, pms or who knows what. It was just a fucking question damn you. Don't take it out on me. And so tt was it; I snapped.

Don't worry I still haven't used "fuck" on her yet, but when the day comes, it is when I don't give a fucking damn whether she lives or dies. As of now, she's just a distant relative of mine. The distance grows further with every altercation she starts with me. And so if you realised, she's the deciding factor, not me.

Seriously, how does a woman as such, deserve any of my respect, or any at all from anyone for that matter. Oh i forgot, she doesn't. As I'd mentioned before, you ought to first respect yourself and others, before you earn the right to command the respect from anyone else. It's just a simple rule of reciprocacy, don't you get it?

I know you may sympathise with her for having me as her son, but think about it. I've been suffering for 22 years under her reign. Now, who deserves the pity?

I'm rooting for Andy Murray cos' of his superb performance so far. He has already bagged the Capitala world championships and the Qatar open this year; Consistency is his strength.

His closest competitors I reckon, will be Nadal (world no.1), Federer (world no.2) and Djokovic (Australian Open 2008's defending champion).

The main draw for the matches in the Australian Open 2009 will be released on the 16th of Jan.

Met up with the usuals on fri nite and went to a tim sum restaurant near mustafa centre. We ordered lotsa food but it was only 12 bucks per person! The food wasn't too bad with the exception of the chee cheong fun - it was fucking bad.

After dinner we went to timbre @old school on mt sophia for drinks and music.

Tennis training today was great! coach william corrected our mistakes and taught us lotsa things.

There was this bunch of japanese middleaged women playing in the court adjacent to us and they were really gd; they had terrific ball control. Imagine your mum playing decent tennis.. woohoo.. but they were wearing long sleeves and long pants coupled with gloves and a cap. Seriously, under this hot sun?

Looking at them made me feel cold. Anyhow, i'm certainly looking forward to nxt wk's training

Had diff types of chicken for dinner and lotsa games - drinking games tt is - Taboo, charades, indian poker, in between, and big/small. We finished 2 bottles of vodka in the end! The day ended at 7am on boxing day.

It has been the best xmas ever.
