Finally a decent post on the taiwan trip. Spent hrs consolidating all the photos from all 3 cams and labelling and arranging them in order so tt it can be up on the blog. Tiring and troublesome i must say.

The trip wasn't tt fantastic but it was generally fun - with the girls (except jac) getting drunk during a ktv session instead of a club nite with free flow of drinks. Weird i noe.. ask them. Yina was wailing like someone had passed away with occasional laughters which made her cry again. Nic was laughing as if she was being tickled on the feet while advocating anti-government movements. Oh not to mention that she was a spoilt jukebox singing songs she favoured incessantly back at the hotel.


Day 1
We went to ximending for dinner and shopping after we checked into our hotel.

Day 2
The nxt day was soaking ourselves in sulphur filled hot springs on top of some hill (yang ming shan if i'm not wrong), followed by jiu fen for beef (cockroach) noodles and taiwan snacks, and caught a short glimpse of the changing of guards parade. It was a rather disappointing one as compared to the changing of guards here. Shilin night market was divided into 2 districts -food and shopping. Dinner was done at the shilin food district after shopping there that nite.

Day 3
We went to taipei 101 the following day which allowed us to take the world's fastest lift up to the 88th floor to enjoy the view of taipei. The night was spent at a club - LAVA with free flow of drinks for onli NT$600 (approx S$27) for guys and NT$400 (approx S$18) for girls.

Day 4
We woke up just in time for lunch the nxt day and took a cab down to ding tai fung for xiao long bao. It was great.. much better than the dtf here. We then went down the road for their famous fen yuan dessert. Nothing special really.. just a bunch of flour balls. The nxt destination was at Breeze Centre where the girls spent 3-4hrs on stocking up on their beauty treats. We (delon, gary and me) were just bored to tears i'm telling u. Dinner was at a toilet themed restaurant - Modern Toilet located @ ximending and the food was cheap yet satisfying. Oh and the much talked about ktv session we had after tt.

Day 5
Lunch was at a japanese restaurant in ximending dating back all the way till the 2nd world war. Sounds cool huh but the food's just mediocre. More shopping after tt in the area and shilin before we proceeded all the way to ban qiao to feast at tian ping zhuo ming ge xi chan ting. It's just some famous cafe whereby western food is served accompanied music sung live in the background.

Day 6
The last day was spent at ximending for some last min shopping before taking the flight back.

Okay i know i left out wu fen pu and rao he night market but i forgot which day was it so pls pardon me. K.. time for a nap. Nights.
